An explanation for the mismatch
Understand why recognizing your history, changing a thought, calming your body, or trying harder each addresses a different part of the work.
UNDERSTAND THE NEED.
LOCATE THE PATTERN.
GIVE CHANGE A DIRECTION.
THE BOOK BY KARINE SPIESS
You have tried to change.
Understand what the effort was missing.
The story of a life spent trying to understand, and the framework which grew from it. The Stuck Point connects the needs you protect with the patterns you repeat, then asks which kind of work belongs where.
It follows a larger question too: once the loop has less of your life, what do you want your life to hold?
Book in preparation. Publication and purchasing details will be shared when available.
WHAT THIS BOOK GIVES YOU
Understand why recognizing your history, changing a thought, calming your body, or trying harder each addresses a different part of the work.
Recognize safety, belonging, esteem, autonomy, and coherence without treating the need itself as an embarrassment.
Bring the need together with an entry point in the loop, so a practice has both a target and a purpose.
Explore the difference between managing discomfort and building connection, choice, self-respect, security, and meaning.
THE STORY IS PART OF THE EXPLANATION
Karine begins with a childhood spent reading the rules from outside. Belonging later became a place to rest. When a relationship ended, the loss unsettled emotional safety and the story she thought she was living.
The questions which followed became clinical questions: what does a pattern protect, what keeps it going, and why does one approach reach a person while another misses? The book lets you follow the inquiry as it becomes a map.
